My new show “Stańczyk” is premiering Sunday March, 5th at Burnswood Studio in Salt Lake City. I created this show as a way to embody the “sad clown paradox,” a temperament of which encourages the creation of light-hearted humor in a professional setting, despite inner turmoil. This theme of “putting on face” while juggling internal despair has resonated with me recently and this work is a dive into how we might cope with change and loss all while trying to reman “happy.”
